Understanding Your Newsworthy Production Range
Understanding Your Newsworthy Production Range
Each Newsworthy service is offered within the investment range shown on this site. Your final investment is determined by the scope and production requirements of your individual story. The listed range is designed to account for the variables that can make one production more involved than another. These may include:* Number of Interviews — additional people require more filming, coordination, and editing.
* Number of Locations — filming at multiple locations may require additional production time and setup.
* Editing Complexity — projects involving multiple interviews, extensive footage, graphics, archival materials, or more complex storytelling may require additional post-production.
* Music & Audio — music selection, licensing requirements, sound restoration, or specialized audio work can affect production needs.
* Archival Materials — incorporating photographs, documents, newspaper clippings, home video, or other historical material may require additional preparation and editing.
* Runtime & Story Scope — a more expansive story or longer finished production may require additional production and editing time.
* Special Production Needs — travel, additional equipment, specialized graphics, or other project-specific requirements may also influence the final investment.### No Surprise PricingThese factors do not automatically create separate charges for every item. Instead, they help determine where your production falls within the published investment range. After your production call, we will define the scope of your project and provide your final production investment before filming begins.### Need Something More?If your project requires services beyond the standard Newsworthy production scope, such as additional deliverables, extended production days, or specialized versions of the finished film, those options will be discussed separately before you make a commitment.
The Newsworthy Production Process
From the first conversation to the finished film, the Newsworthy process is designed to stay simple, organized, and focused on the story.
1. Production Call
We begin with a conversation about the person, cause, accomplishment, or story you want to document. We determine the appropriate Newsworthy service, define the basic scope, and confirm the production investment.2. Scheduling & Story Preparation
We schedule the interview and filming location, identify who will participate, and establish the primary focus of the story. You may also provide photographs, documents, home video, memorabilia, or other background materials for consideration.3. Research, When Needed
Some stories may benefit from additional background research, fact-checking, historical context, or review of supporting materials. Research is incorporated only when necessary to strengthen the accuracy and depth of the production.4. Filming
The primary interview is recorded during the scheduled production session, typically at one location. We may also capture supporting footage of the subject, surroundings, photographs, memorabilia, or other visual elements that help tell the story.5. Editing & Story Development
The interview and supporting materials are shaped into a concise documentary-style production. Editing may include titles, music, sound enhancement, photographs, archival material, and other visual elements appropriate to the story.6. Review & Final Delivery
You receive a review version for factual corrections and the revisions included with your production. After approval, the completed Newsworthy video is finalized and delivered digitally.
